Early Life & Education
Completed MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal. Obtained MRCP and CCT in Gastroenterology from UK. Awarded prestigious FRCP (Lon) by Royal College of Physicians. Pursued fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy and IBD from Australia.
Professional Career
One of the few with Consultant Gastroenterologist experience across three continents (UK, Australia and India). Has been an International MRCP (UK) examiners in India. Performed more than 50000 endoscopic procedures of varying complexities. Trained many medical students and Gastroenterology fellows. Widely recognised as an IBD specialist among Gastroenterology colleagues.
Research & Publications
Acted as a sub investigator and Principal Investigator for more than 25 clinical trials in IBD. Published and presented in many journals and conferences on regular basis.
Awards & Recognition
Awarded as “Rising Star in Gastroenterology” by Times group in 2018. Part of SAIA (South Asian IBD alliance) and APMA ( Asia Pacific middle east and African) group for IBD. Organised many international conferences.
